Higher time to kill means skill & gear matters more. Right now a militia AR has the chance to easily melt a proto medium if hes in range and is behind him. But what will this militia AR do to a fully tanked Gallente heavy with 8x his health and 3x his DPS, when this MLT AR can't even kill the heavy with an entire magazine?
You ever tried to take down a tank by yourself, with militia swarms?
I'm LOLing hard at the scrubbies that think they'll like 1.8 because they'll live longer. Sure, you'll live .2 seconds longer against an HMG... but you won't have a single chance in hell of killing any player in a proto suit under normal circumstances.
In 1.8, the QQ for brick tank will be through the roof.
Zerging comes from high HP, try to zerg in COD or BF...you'll get melted. Zerging is possible because we don't need cover so we don't need to chip away @ the enemy from behind that cover, instead we take the bullets and overwhelm them.

Zerg tactics is overwhelming through quantity not quality, rushing someone b/c you have high hp is not zerging, it's steamrolling. Get rhetoric straight. SMH.
