Has anyone seen that in actual combat officer held over his head poster "I commander, shoot at me!"
Turn off the visibility of its chevron for enemies!

Does it matter...Currently there's no real reason to target Squad Commanders in battle like that. The only time where it's a big situation is when the Squad Commander the crutch of the squad.

If you see them crouching or just standing still and watching their arm, better shoot fast to delay that OB...
Other than that, it makes sense to shoot them first... |

Correct.
In combat, any leakage of information about the role of a soldier - is unacceptable.

Well that's debateble, since you also see the names and other stuff, so seeing who is squad leader is OK in my opinion.
If you play smart you could also deceive the enemy by giving the lead to somebody else (just for calling OBs and activating squad orders) while the real squad leader (best assault forward killer) is giving the Orders to the squad.
You often end up giving the squad lead to somebody else because you are in a vehicle or bad position to call OB's.

Squad leader - a tool to manage the squad.
