we tried it your way, and it was AWFUL!! d newbs left after 5 games and vets left in droves, we tried it your way and we all hated it across the board. your in the minority dust is not for you, please and dont you dare try and derail this change.
dust is not call of duty/titanfall its own beast if you want to play a twitch shooter their are two perfect games for you.
dust is about having the correct fitting
the correct knowledge and mindset and situation awareness on how to kill your enemy.
the skill to maintain your aim for more than 0.5 seconds.
the teamplay and communication to get your buddies in to clear a heavy sat on a point.
you could do all these dust at the moment yes. or could do the above, but it was not key part of the game.
now it does not matter how fast your reaction time is. you got to move with your squad, know what the enemy fittings are in order to counter and trust your logibro brought ammo, so your heavy can rush in clear the point while the assults deal with any fast movers.
once the tank spam is delt with we will have dust back again.

It would just be nice if these didn't hurt Gallente so much more then anything...

Its not hurting Gallente its called balancing.
Also you get to keep your bullshit eHP, reps and ofc your heavy will quickly become FOTM.
Actually I reall hope the new MD forces every god damn Gallente frog bastard to quit this game. From my heart truly, **** you guys and long live the State!

I get what you're trying to say but... both ends of the TTK will have newbies frustrated. I'm not too sure which is better.
In one hand, we have low TTK. From a newbie's perspective, he's being dropped really fast. Ok, that sounds like he never stood a chance but it makes it so he can deal the same treatment to a more powerful opponent.
In the other hand, we have high TTK. This is supposed to give players some time to battle it out but it has the possibility of ending up benefiting the proto players way more than low TTK ever did. If with low TTK proto players killed proficiently, upping TTK could potentially make them even harder to kill.
Maybe that's why some vets left, don't you think? The lower TTK was a threat to them. We'll see just how much of a difference these changes do but in older times TTK in Dust was a wee bit too high. In comparison with games like BF3, the TTK we have now is fine. I'll cautiously hope the changes can offer a better experience for most people.
