To Sgt Buttscratch - stop being a dck to anyone who tries to talk about remotes.
To everyone else - Remotes being detonated IMMEDIATELY, hence the word immediately, after the person with the remotes has died is bull. You got shot in the face before you got to detonate them, this is like saying i should be able to shoot my hmg after my body is laying on the ground motionless. It happens to be unfair.
And please dont tell me that i should have ran away from the remotes, hence the word immediately, my fastest heavy with no kin cats is running 4.61m/s and remotes have a blast radius of 5m. So basically it would take me more than 1 second to escape a remote that some suicide scout put at my feet since IMMEDIATELY DETONATED happens to be faster than 1 second.

You realize that's working as intended right? That's one of the weaknesses of the Sentinel suit.
My advice would be to terminate their clone, and carry Flux Grenades.
Also Balanced, not Balenced.

do you even remote bruh they do have a det time trust that, the higher teirs have less time but its not instant. people pick hevies because they are durable have high EHP and a nasty main weapon but put something in that is a counter and presto instant QQ. just wait till 1.8 everything will be ok. (side note) i seen some fatty's live from an RE albeit 1 but if they plant more than that you deserve to die.

Yes they threw themselves at me but no i did not fall for any trap. I find an objective and never move from it. The scouts come to me die repeatedly then use suicide remotes to kill me even if i kill them first, since i cant run.

I understand your frustration with post-mortem detonation, however I don't think you know what the word "immediately" means. REs can only be activated 2 seconds after placement. Your heavy runs at 4.61 m/s... REs have a blast radius of 5m... after 2 seconds, you can be 4.22 meters away from the blast.
It's not the RE users fault you stay in one spot long enough for the RE to kill you. |

I was running my Assault ak.0 the other day. I see some guy pop around a corner in a low tanked medium suit, gib him, but not before he throws a remote directly at my feet.
I saw him throwing it and started sprinting instantly.
Still died.
Only two basic plates and I still couldn't escape.
Bullsh*t tactic is bullsh*t
I also love the one where he throws it and it disappears, then appears ten metres away.
I have zero problems with them being used as a trap.
I have serious problems with them being used as a grenade.
I would rather get hit by a Core.

I dont mind remotes i dont mind if some scout kills me if i dont see them. Props to the ninja that snuck around me. Its the jihads i hate.

for what it's worth, I've gotten scores of kills from the grave with the SR and CR.
RE's are fine, though I do wish there was a more notice able animation when they're thrown.
Edit, it's also worth noteing that I've taken a RE and walked away. took me down to 0 armor. Don't ask me how but it's true.
Thr33 is the magic number.

If you think it's "immediately" then they were probably throwing down their second RE when they died.

So many times I have been killed by people exploiting my knowledge of the REs.
What I mean is this: you want to run away from the remote, which usually means back the way you came.
In my heavy suit, I can sometimes manage this.
Sometimes they throw them behind me, so that when I gib them and run forward they can post-mortem detonate the one where I've just run to.
Tactical use, but still bullsh*t.

You know with the Burst HMG, you can actually kind of do this. All 45 shots go off, even if you die.
It's created some hilarious killfeeds for me on one or two occasions.

Just know that even though I use REs like no tomorrow, I agree that detonating them after death is a bit lame. |

i have almost perfected the art of avoiding re traps.
even caused the suicides of a few enemy re scouts.
it does get to be a pain sometimes. for some ppl it might be easier surviving a direct orbital strike. |

Lmfao, the tears are sooo sweet. They energize me and continue to empower my remotes to obliterate running and gunning, not looking where you step, and fools who don't double tap but think they got the last kill anyway! Ahahahahaha, bring my Minja scout more!
