OMG! The map Parcel Storm is incredible. The weather changes throughout round to a hurricane. Hunt down a video.
Every map has flowing wavy water. Brushes and leaves move with the wind etc. combined with more destruction loke entire skyscraper crashing to the ground. It is true digital crack. Campaign is good too.
The chat portion in the community is lacking. So, if anyone wants to squad or platoon up send me a friend request on your PS4.
Take care.

BF4 is fun when it works, but definitely a lot more fun than dust is right now.
After Uprisings release the forums were a bad place, I'll never forget how CCP screwed up so badly.

well i do like BF4 but the fact that so many preteen boys are playing that game its quite annoying when suddenly a 10 year old mexican boy is using broken english asking whats your age in BF4 kind of ruins that for me. but other than that i do enjoy the gameplay (minus the rubber banding at one point)
but dust is where my corp is and all my buddies so i keep returning back here rather than to BF4

BF4 on PC is great fun. The thing that lets it down I feel is lack of a feeling of caring if you win or lose.
If Battlefield had some sort of skill progression, and more involvement with corps / clans etc... it would be the go to FPS game. As it stands however its great fun and the mechanics of the game are spot on but it does leave a little to be desired in terms of 'caring'.

Yet I still play DUST at night on the 70" screen in the office, rather than the PS4 games.... |

I've played the BF series since BF42 (still the best of the series, IMO).
My impression of BF4 -- meh -- and I still log into and play Dust daily.
It's simply a deeper and more interesting game to me. |

CCP might reach the end of the ps3s capabilities sometime around 2015

It is all a matter of perspective. Not everyone has the time or desire to devote a lot of their time to one game as an obsession. Let's face it; some folks are just casual gamers and thus grindy games do not appeal to them. |

BF4? No thank you. I want to fight players, not bugs.
Next thing I'll play will be Titanfall next week. But after having played the beta I know that Titanfall will not be forever, unlike Dust. It's a fun game, it's a bit different but it isn't as fun as Dust in the long term. After I've reached Gen 10 (which will take approximately 100 hours) I will probably not play Titanfall again.
Dust on the other hand gets free content all the time (no jokes about CCP not doing anything. They do something. They release new content. And they release it pretty often) and because of the meta game it's still fun even when I play it longer. Also I really like the longer TTK.

I'm fairly certain by all the steps CCP took to produce this game since closed beta, that they hit the end of the PS3's capabilities a long time ago....

We are hitting the point where we have decent enough processing power, but we don't have the memory or the advanced transition speed that the PS3 currently offers. You have to remember, that CCP is designing a game for a console whose development was between 2004 and 2006, and whose hardware components are from the same era.
Half a gigabyte of shared memory is hardly enough to pursue the dream that CCP is chasing, where you have tons of different types of vehicles and dropsuits for every single race (all four factions) running on the battlefield simultaneously. From a systems perspective, there are just too many things about the PS3's old hardware that have "weak links in the chain" that will prevent it from gaining a high graphic/gameplay fidelity; it all comes down to hardware.

I love dust's clone ramp up period. Months and maybe a year can go by and you are still not maxxxxxed out, but it looks so old. BF just look so sweet on PS4. I am impressed daily. Mind you I waited until a few weeks ago to bet the PS4. So, bf is patched up and good to go. I have maybe a disconnect or load issue once every 8 hours or so.

Not to mention some people aren't fooled by the "RPG" aspect of Dust.
Yea, a number that's steadily raising whether or not i participate in the game isn't "Being more involved". It just a clever game mechanic to sucker people into buying boosters. |

I wouldn't go that far. They are inexperienced with the PS3 and it shows. They will continue to optimize the code and get better performance over the next few years. Just look at any Bethesda game on the PS3, they made multiple games for it and they all were buggy.

Because Dust is millions of years ahead of Broken field 4. In BF4 everyone spams grenades like crazy and the netcode is horrible. Dust still has alot of life yet. Sci fi shooters will dominate. The division, dust, starwars battlefront 3, ect... modernshooters so effin boring I mean why buy them if there boring.
