What's the most recent info we were given on 1.8 Assaults? I'm always hearing this or that but never really seeing a source.

Amarr keep their current bonus
Gallente get a hipfire bonus to blaster weapons
Minmatar get extra ammo in the mag for Minmatar made weapons(including the MD)
And Caldari get a bonus to reload for rail tech
Basically, Caldari and Gallente got screwed.

^This, not surprised honestly tho..these do not help assaults one bit.

Debatable.
Hipfire could potentially affect shotguns and ARs negatively depending on how much spread you want, and it obviously doesn't affect the plasma cannon at all.
Meanwhile, the Caldari bonus affects the RR, MSMG, and bolt pistol positively. Especially in the case of the bolt pistol, it's helpful. It's not that helpful, though.
Both of them are utter trash compared to the monster that is the Amarr overheating bonus or a ridiculous WTFBBQ 11 shot MD clip or 70 shot burst CR clip.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.
