amarr sentinel-300x1.25 shields=375 shields 600x 1.25+3(135x1.1)=1196 armor 25% resistance to splash damage (375x1.2x1.25)=563 damage required to overcome shields (1196x.8x1.25)=1196 damage required to overcome armor 563+1196=1759 damage required from flay lock to kill amarr sentinel damage per clip of flaylock=164*3=492 damage per clip 1759/492=3.6 clips, or 11 rounds to kill an amarr sentinel THE ARMOR TANKED SENTINEL WEAK TO EXPLOSIVES at 3 seconds per reload, this is 9 seconds+11*delay between shots seconds to kill a heavy with a flay lock, assuming every round hits

Now factor in projectile speed causing about 1 of 3 shots to miss entirely, and the amarr heavy is unkillable with a flay lock pistol
What I'm trying to say is- BUFF THE FLAYLOCK!

What I'm trying to say is- BUFF THE FLAYLOCK! While I support the reasons to buff the flaylock your argument is flawed as you abdicating its use on the one type of opponent you wouldn't want to use it on.

i use the flaylock and i use it well and im only level 3 no prof, its a A O D weapon in the right situation and an excellent finisher i love when fatties turn the corner and BOOM f*ck your logi picking your burnt a$$ up lol. and as for direct contact well they better be sitting still or you better have a great shot.

You've taken an Amarr Sentinel with triple Complex Armor Plate. Not sure everyone will fit a 3x Complex plate. Maybe some Biotics will be fitted on it. With Level 5 of Armor AND shields. ADV (But not with 3x complex plate) PRO suit (certianely PRO).
And compaired it with a STD secondary weapon with no damager and no Proficiency. OF course it will take a long time to kill !!!!!!
I mean....come on if you want to compair Flaylocks with these ehp values and tier value (Complex plates AND PRO suit) You must take the PRO Flaylock with some damager AND some proficiency. THEN it will be a real comparaison.
Oh and....All Sentinel suits are MEANT to be explosive resistant. Trying to kill an Heavy with an explosive weapon in 1.8 is like trynig to kill an assault with swars launcher....... Amarr sentinel is NOT the Explosive weak sentinel.

It's a sidearm. Sidearms should not be able to kill a heavy by itself. Sidearms are backup weapons for your light weapon. Use that first. Problem solved.

A Scrambler wouldn't kill a heavy in one clip.

Magsec SMG damage per shot-35 shots/clip-54 total damage/clip-35*54=1890 damage
versus 375 shield (375*1.1*1.1)=454 EHP versus 1196 armor (1196*.9)=1076 EHP 1076+454=1530 damage required to down Amarr sentinel 1530/35=44 bullets TTK=.3+44*.09=4.26 seconds of continuous fire from the magsec to down an amarr sentinel, with a long range hitscan weapon and 0 skills invested. This is about 1/3-1/4 the time it requires to kill the same suit with a flay lock. Plus, this weapon leaves ammo in the clip for more enemies to deal with, and has >3 clips remaining afterwards

NK- Your kidding, right? A headslice kills people really fast. Also it's not that hard to kill a heavy with NKs if they aren't looking at you... P.S. it takes like 4 headshots to kill a heavy with a Scrambler Pistol. It's not that hard.
