Fear not! For I am not biased, and have only the best interests of my fellow Heavies! As such; the following suggestions will be suggested to CCP. (And possibly reinforced by my delicious tears.)
Without further time expenses; the following changes are a must for the very survival of this game.
::Reduce all Heavy Base HP to 150 Shield HP, and 150 Armor HP. ::Reduce Heavy Turn Speed. ::Remove Heavy Sprint. A heavy should only WALK. ::Remove resistance bonuses. ::With the 1.8 update; taking down a heavy requires teamwork; with that said...it would be GREATLY appreciated if operating a heavy required teamwork too. One person should control the movement. The over; it's ability to look around, and shoot. ::Remove two module slots on all heavies. This includes variants. ::If I Nova Knife a heavy; the damage taken by it should be the base damage plus an 800% critical hit. ::Change HMG ROF to 10 per minute.
With these changes in mind; I'm sure the overall game would be much more enjoyable. You will be recompensed with great aptitude my heavy friends! These nerfs aren't hard enough; you need them to always show on radar too, and they probably shouldn't be able to equip a weapon either-thats just OP.
In all seriousness, when 1.8 comes around, Heavies will be very overpowered compared to other suits, simply due to the fact that they will be undownable by anything other than a IshNok minja, and even then they will be killed before they can get off the heavy kill by the HMG.
Assaults will be out gunned in 1v1's and firefights simply due to much higher EHP on heavies. This would be good if they also suffered severe weaknesses-i.e. weak to attacks from behind/sides and very long ranges and low overall mobility and low regeneration as well.
To balance out the 1.8 sentinel i honestly believe that it should 1) keep its EHP bonuses 2) receive a 15% range nerf on light weapons (notice-not damage, but range) 3) have a much lower rotation speed than other suits 4) have a reduced strafing speed, and have assaults and scouts have higher strafing speeds than they currently do

Balance!
