I only go for melee kills when it makes sense.
As in I am right infront of the enemy, they have little health and I'm out of ammo.
That's literally the only use for melee right now because of it's laughable damage even with a myo stim.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

do you use a ScP? There's always a guy that comes outta the woodwork. The 3rounds left in my pistol after an engagement or two just cripples him. Melee for the kill. The exile does alot of damage too but sometimes doesn't quite finish em off. Again melee.
