Played a game last night where my squad mate and I found ourselves on the receiving end of a severe mechanical fisting. In the map screen, I counted at least six tanks on the ground in the little three point skirmish map, leading to about ten minutes of us scrambling from cover to cover, unable to really hack anything, basically trying to get clear long enough to see the enemy location once in a while. Anyone have any success disrupting this sort of pile up? I tried remotes, the tanks were too buffed, my buddy tried tanks, but always ended up facing 2+ tanks, swarms are obviously useless, is the forge the only other way? |

Forge works, but a railgun tank with damage mods is better.

Sometimes I call in tanks so I can run away while the enemy tank horde is destroying it along with the RDV.
No way in hell they'll let you land a tank unless you're on the far edge of a map.
Even then there's not too many circumstances where you can outgun 6 tanks already on the ground. |

I drop BPO LAVs as a distraction quite often. It actually works quite frequently.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

if there's 2 of you then call in 2 sicas with 2x railgun damage amplifier and focus fire. You'll take down any tank in no time with two of you firing double damage-modded rails. Be aware though that currently there is a game-breaking bug relating to the rail's hit detection which sometimes makes tanking unbearable. |
