Seriously, Is it because you want tanks overpowering FW? and people wonder why Caldari often gets trampled..
Give us Forge gunners incentive to actually go do FW please...
Most likely it will be implemented in the next patch, right? Or did CCP completely overlook this fact?

Currently, Heavies are really ****** over with the LP market. Amarr has the only Heavy suits, Minmatar has the HMG, and there aren't any Forge Guns. The decision to not put Forge Guns on the LP market is baffling, but they'd probably just end up being the normal variant that no one uses. It's all about the Assault FG or the Breach FG(One-shotting HAVs never gets old).

I beleive I saw a dev post right after the LP store opened stating it was a mistake that would be corrected in the next update.

Because implementing half-cocked **** is what they do.
It's all they've done.
1.8 will probably be missing the Assault suits altogether, because of something they'll make sound small and incidental, but never gets resolved. And if they did ever fix it, it would be such a huge deal for them that'd deserve it's own patch with all the useless Dev Blogs they can spend 13 minutes typing (and make them sound like a big ******* deal too).

Yes, it was either get the LP store out as it is now, or delay it to 1.8
I, for one, am glad they put it out there. It gave us a tangible reason to play FW.
