It's safe to assume the patch notes are right around the corner...I'm assuming next tuesday but won't hold my breath  Was wondering if/when we can expect a statement to be made about the possibility of a respec/refund?
Will the patch notes contain the announcement? Will there be a seperate announcement? Is it something we will know when the patch notes do get released?
Whether we do (please, yes) or don't it would be nice to know so we, as loyal mercs, can begin to theorycraft and plan our SP allocation accordingly.

personallpy best you can hope for will be refund of SP/Isk for Dropsuit command skill tree, something i think is pretty fair to ask from ccp too seeing as the skills are completely changing for all suits and tankers got similar in 1.7. also my money is on 1.8 being released on march 1.8 (18th) with patch notes on the 11th

Patch notes usually come a week before the actual update, and at least a week before that we start seeing dev blogs. So you're doing right not to hold your breath.
Also I'd suspect the decision on a respec will be included in a dev blog.
Mail me in game if interested in learning about the Amarr Empire and serving them in Faction Warfare.

CCP wants us to be quiet about the respec stuff, but we don't know if it is because they don't intend on doing it or they are just tired of us bothering them.
This "internal discussion" is a line of bullshit, they already know. I think they are waiting to tell us one way or another until they have the devblogs/patch notes prepared. Why? Because that is the most inefficient, least customer-friendly method of doing things so CCP must be doing it.

it just puzzles me why people continually believe they are entitled to a respec. we were all told when uprising dropped that the respec received then would be our last full respec we would receive.
in no other FPS game does the playerbase continually whine for respecs if a weapon or suit is changed.
yes a lot has changed in DUST since the beginning a lot will be changing even more for as long as it lasts, CCP have stated (at eve vegas) that they were considering a respec for AUR model. the only reason i think the player base should have dropsuit command reimbursed is simply because all the racial suits will finally bei brought in and the skill bonus system has been completely reworked. soem peopel went into minmatar logi for th ehack bonus. thats not just been changed its been moved to an entire new suit. after that if a suit or weapon gets nerfed then tough s***. learn to adapt, re-train. we've done it in EVE for the past 10yrs so quit being a bunch of whiney ass cod p***ies and learn to use what you have.

Nah, I'm loving ESO right now. I'm an Elder Scrolls fan though so I'm a bit biased. I should finally start having a little bit of money after a very long hiatus of being a broke ass, until CCP gets this ship back on track and shows that they can create a stable foundation to grow from, I think I'm gonna give ESO my business.
I've spent around $100 on this game. While not a huge amount, it's still a good chunk for a game that is so clearly still in Beta.

I'm locking this thread because, as stated numerous times elsewhere, Respec discussion should go in this thread. It's ridiculous to think that we would simply create a thread and not follow the discussion (as a few have alluded to here).
Play nice with eachother, and please think before you post. Being rude towards eachother or Employees really won't help serve your cause.
TL;DR: Be a bro/sis and allow us to provide you with a proper response in time. We wouldn't create a thread to let it rot and leave you hanging. Cheers.
