 Hey Guys,
 
 General Discussion: Do all the bonuses makes sense? For example, Amarr scout, sentinel bonuses to resistance against allied weaponry etc.
 
 Welcome to another DUST 514 video. Today we take a look at the highlights from last weeks Mass Driver squad event. On the weekend we will be running full squads of only plasma cannons and/or heavies (due to the event taking place).

 Sentinel bonuses explained (because you expressed confusion over them):
 
 3% resistance to the weapon used by the opposing faction.
 2% resistance to the other weapon that has a damage bonus to your tank type (Shield/Armor).
 
 Caldari (Shield) 2% resistance per level to Laser weapons (strong against shields)
 Gallente (Armor) 2% resistance per level to projectile weapons (strong against armor)
 Minmatar (Shield): 2% resistance per level to Blaster weapons (stronger against shields)
 Amarr (Armor) 2% resistance per level to Railgun weapons (stronger against armor)

 This is a good point. However, the only thing that from a lore point of view maybe don't make as much sense is having resists against your ally. I would say this would make more sense:
 
 Caldari (Shield) 2% resistance per level to Blaster weapons (strong against shields)
 Gallente (Armor) 2% resistance per level to Railgun weapons (strong against armor)
 Minmatar (Shield): 2% resistance per level to Laser weapons (stronger against shields)
 Amarr (Armor) 2% resistance per level to Projectile weapons (stronger against armor)
 
 this has the same implication as the initial resists... but makes more sense in terms of the story behind the races... Amarr enslaved the amarr thus were fighting against eachother for a long long time... and gallente and caldari wars that raged for hundreds of years etc.

 Wanting to discuss the whether the bonuses make sense, which Fox Gaden has began the discussion very well. The reason being I don't think they all make sense as highlighted in my reply to him. I wanna see what others think.

 What you are suggesting are the 3% resistances. You're just overthinking things.
 
 As to the lore aspect. Prudence, an ally today does not necessarily mean an ally tomorrow.
