i know some people have issues that an hav can sneak up on them with their radar. what i would like to see is vehicle radars (not the scanners they are some what fine) only pick up other vehicles. i feel like the scan range of vehicles should be much farther but should only pick up other vehicles i know this would make it more competitve for suicide lav and suicide dropships. my issue is that when being dive bombed i cannot see the enemy dropship till it is hitting me. just a thought |

Vehicle radar is pretty ridiculous. As a dropship pilot, I love the notion that some idiots have that, "If you get rammed it's your own fault!" Yes, because I can monitor 360 degrees, high and low at all times and trust in my measly 80m passive radar...it's not like a ramming dropship will cross that 80m distance in a second before I can react and smash me from the sky...
Really, sensory information is pretty weak as far as vehicles are concerned. From a dropship pilot's perspective, we need a much better radar: for one thing I'd very much like to have better hit detection and by that I mean, we have sensors and cloaks and electronic profile dampening: why can we not determine from what direction an impact hit us from instead of where on the vehicle it hit us?
Know that a Forge Gun just smashed into the middle of my dropship is utterly useless information. |

in a pc a week or so back i was dive bombed 6 times that were a success and four more that were not either way they all came from the top of the screen and there is no way to see them coming |
