If you're running more than one plate on an amarr logi, you're doing it wrong.
3 complex reppers, one plate, 2 carthum scrambler pistols.

Gal Assault has many advantages over the logi, as do all assaults, but if you dont know that I cant give it to you because it means your the guy that counts the slots of a suit and thats what you go by and thats allcyou know, assaults have always been bad a s s but not in the thumbs of scrubs... |

If they are nerfing damage mods then maybe the loss of armor rep may not matter. I hate that but we'll see. This might be the worst update the federation has ever seen.

pack multiple rep hives.... wykomi rep hives arnt being nerfed so theres literally no change in most top players fits for this suit as it never really needed or used the suit reps anyways.... just stand on or near your hive spam. |

That inherent 5 HP/s really isn't much.
I skilled Reps long before I had my Plates and even that 20 HP/s Complex Rep isn't all that great, either. If you're already down to just your armor, that's ~5 seconds just to heal 1 weak ass bullet's damage.
Don't get me wrong, they're nice to have if you're being evasive and playing the perimeter, but if you're up in the heart of the fight, they're a waste. Triage hives, all day on a Logi.
On my Assault gK.0, its all Plates with a Wyrikomi(R) Nano. It had a piece of **** Complex repper until I got dem Nanos. It was a waste of space on my power grid and cut me out of another 120 armor.
After 1.8, every Gallente purist will be a Scout or Heavy anyways. I'll be both - using a Scout like a Tactical Logi and my Heavy as a trailblazer.

You asked how will a logi cope without an extra 5hp/s, they will survive without by being a logistics class and not an assault. Especially since your fittings will be a lot tighter.

Thats my point thats never really been a problem, lots of logi suit users are just slayers, lots of assault suit users just suck, once the slayers put on the assault face they will still be doing the killing. Question is what will badly skilled players do once that happens? Do they think they will suddenly be better? And what can they then cry foul over? At what point will someone tell them its not the suit its their skill? Logis have never been the problem, now this will be self evident....... Anyway not needing to carry a scanner anymore and the equipment fitting bonus will more then be sufficent to continue runningma nice dampened slayer fit in CalLogis anyway, especially with the buff to shields... |
