Now, I was going through a few forum posts because the tanks were frustrating me, and I saw so many people constantly "suggesting" using teamwork. You people act like every player understands teamwork or contributes in any way asides from the odd revive. It's players like these that discourage me even bothering being a team player, why bother when everyone scatters at the sight of a tank? I might as well just slap tanks and hope to do some damage because when you "team up" against them, or even other infantry who are decent, you are rewarded with a swift death. It frustrates the **** out of me when people always think everyone's willing to actually help out when they really do nothing but become a liability. Even with voice communication I find it hard to coordinate with a team. When it comes down to it the veteran with more SP and skills is going to **** on you.
Also, I was reading that people should gang up on tanks with AV and Swarms, well the last time I tried that it was like throwing pennies at it. I don't want to focus my SP into "tank destroying" and then have no chance against infantry. And when you equip a swarmer class you'd best hope, if you did manage to take out whatever you were shooting at, that you can escape the various infantry that are hunting you long enough to reach a depot.
So about teamwork; how do you go about finding teamwork? It's not like teams/humans have a hive mind.
Fighting one tank isn't fun, let alone THREE.
Few multiple subjects here but it was mainly brought on by tank rage.
Also my aim sucks, I'm really not used to the clunky aiming. I only ever hit people who are stood still LOL |

QFT. People suck. Besides, it's way more satisfying to when you occasionally win entirely on your own merits.
As for dealing with tankers, I feel dirty saying this, but just get a Sica with a hardener, rail damage mod, 120mm plate and armor hardener or heavy repper. Simply point and shoot, pretty much any blaster tank is going to go down. At 70k a pop they're disposable and you can just spam them and ruin tankers' days. |

If infantry will group all together they will get ob on their faces sooner or later.
That's why more experienced players should take droplinks and go asap to safe spots to show rookies what need to be done to win map.
Sorry to say but swarms are good now only against cheap LAV or Instalations. Every proper pilot will laugh even on wyrkomi. Best ones with core skills will avoid them driving soma or sica.
Good Forge Gun and at least adv av granades are needed.
Too bad that I specialize into amarr logi because I wanted to handle wyrkomi swarms, sidearm and have few eq slots.
Now I just feel like my ancestors wich during WW2 ride on horses equipped with sabres to fight tanks 
People if U join ambush with already deployed 6 tanks just leave the f.... game will ya !!!
Unless U are lvl 5 forge / ADS or Railgun on safe spot.

You're probably at a disadvantage to begin with because of your inexperience and low SP. Then, it's sometimes hard to find a squad / corp that you can trust. Your play styles might not be compatible. For instance, you might skill into Logistics gear, but find that they all run off so that you can never keep up with them to repair them, etc. AND, by the way, they often get you killed by doing foolish things . . .

Swarm Launchers currently don't work except against noob tanks and LAVs. They nerffed these to "uselessness" with update 1.7. They used to be pretty useful though.

I lone wolf it most of the time too for the same reasons, though I'm still looking for a home. But if we get the respec, I'll stay away from "helpful" gear such as logistics suits and repair tools. They only work well when you can keep people in one place. . . until the orbital strike that is.

I used to run solo for the majority of the time I've been in here. However one day I just decided I was tired of constantly ending up on teams of random scrubs who didn't do anything.
I have absolutely ZERO complaints about all the guys I go in with. Everybody has a good working strategy with good communication lines.
