The contents for the racial Combat Packs were listed and each one comes with two uniquely skinned assault suits (ADV and PRO) and a wide assortment of various Aurum items currently available on the market. However, the Amarr Combat Pack also includes the following:
'Imperial Guard' VZN-20 Forge Gun
'Imperial Guard' Viziam Forge Gun
I don't use forge guns too much but even I know these are new. A golden skinned forge gun you say?
Mail me in game if interested in learning about the Amarr Empire and serving them in Faction Warfare.

Impossible. Only Ishukhone and Kalaakiota make forge guns. Has to be a mistake.
The biggest threat to my scout is everything.

It's listed under the variants tab for the normal Forge Gun, so it must be true.
I don't know if it's differently colored though. Might just have to buy this pack.

Why am I pissed when I look at the banners for the Combat packs?
Oh because the Minmatar appear in a pure red suit, the Caldari seem to have a deep blue suit...even the Gallente have a unique Camo suit?
But the Amarr have......a standard "Neo" colour scheme?

"The image they provide isn't golden, but I the pack description says 'golden assault ak.0' so if it's not I'll just send in a million support tickets until it is."

Actually, the Viziam Forge Guns were here for some time now. Maybe not in the market, but they were in the game. I've seen some way back in 1.4 I think.

That is what sold me on the pack. If it's not golden than that's false advertisement.

It's because the Amarr have the only heavy suit in the game but don't have a heavy weapon yet.

Its not red.
Its the same Neo colourscheme with a stupid red tinge that doesn't even fit with Amarrian Navy or Imperial guard!

There was plans to release the Viziam Forge gun until some Gallente Scum hacked all the Forge Gun BPC protocals making the guns total crap. The reduced ROF and Splash made the Empire turn it's back on the once awesome weapon.
Forge Changes needed Officer Splash 3.0, Proto 2.7 Advanced 2.5 Standard 2.1.
Original ROF needs to return!
