I have noticed, as of recently, that players are gradually becoming, and when I mean gradually, I mean extremely slowly. While playing on my scout (minja) I was inside of one of the buildings on a map where Alpha is (this map has 4 objectives with A having three roads go downward into the ground and Beta inside a large building complex) and while exiting the building I happen to be confronted with a Minmatar logi, and quickly using my "scout instincts" sprint to the left side of the wall which is indented to the entrance and cannot be seen from just viewing from the entrance. Expecting the stupid redberry to walk in like an idiot only to be shotgunned in the face, I happened to be waiting there longer than necessary, so I go up the stairs and go around to the entrance and check out what's up with this smart-ass. Turns out he was nicely just staring down the entrance expecting me to come out so he could insta-kill me with his RR. Of course he never saw me coming, so he was dropped almost instantly.
End result:
Maybe the average dust player is getting smarter? I mean, there still a long way from really trying to outsmart us scouts, but still, it's a start right? XD

Well, there's no way the community could get any dumber, so anything from here on out is pure progress.

No, randoms are still dumb. So are most of the forums.
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

Well, we're a pretty exclusive bunch around here. Dust being rock hard to downright unplayable for new players means that few of them stick around. But those who do are pretty much a selection of the most resilient, masochistic motherkitteners (endless forum QQ notwithstanding) the PS3 has to offer.
We've probably reached the point where the majority of post release scrublets is either gone or "got gud" so to speak.

During this event I'm noticing more people than ever rushing Hack Points without clearing them with a grenade. Nothing is so heartbreaking as seeing a squad mate flip because my flux didn't get there first.
Don't even get me started on over-watch.

cause really I'm a lone scout and they are uber leet pc vets there is no way I could take them down especially in low armor(which I was).
I watched their red arrows coming up the ramp and boom a logi flys across my screen. I laughed harder than I should have...

In some ways I understand what your saying about people becoming wiser to seeing a scout and how to approach the situation, then I play a game like the one I had 20 minutes ago where the enemy just don't seem to get it.
- Same 2 assault players coming in through the same entrance to get the same result, I jump over the wall above them and give them both shotbum sechs.
- Same heavy with SCR and hislogi friend used the top entrance into MY objective 3 times, each time the heavy stood in the stairwell while his logi ulinked the rep tool scanned, got his face blown off then had to watch his fatty appear next to the word [shotgun] on the killfeed.
There was several other players or pairs who had the same line of thought into MY objective, and not once did they change their tactics to take the room.
However, they did at one point come along with 6 players and take the objective and kill me... twats, I spawned back in with a BPO dragonfly scoutsuit, remotes and toxin AR, walked into the room with them all repping each other dropping uplinks, hives etc placed 3 remotes, walked back outside BOOOOOOM 4 dead, 4 equipments last 2 got toxin'd and I gotmy objective back.
Dumbasses, all of them.
I stick my weiner in two buns and and then give it the gas

Some are getting smarter. I think there are more matches where I am not able to simply detonate my REs once an objective starts blinking to get a kill.
It still works most of the time, but not in all matches.
Unfortunately, I still see many blueberries hack an objective when there is a red CRU nearby. Seriously, hack the CRU first...

My CEO occasionally sends out reminders to our corp to make sure we all got the message that hacking the CRU first is priority before hacking the objective.

He's an example a smart player - a day after leaving D-UNI I ran into him, for a while we were pretty much solo fighting each other for an objective. I out range his light(scout?) suit weapons with my ScP, he respawns assault/rifle. He realised im watching out for enemies coming from that CRU, he takes alternate routes. He gets exploded at the objective, he then fluxes anytime he gets near. He realises ill keep shotgunning him in the back, he starts checking likely hiding places before hacking (very tense).
These Mauler tourists though...I run around the corner, they run straight into my remote. I run around the corner, they run straight into my remote. I run around a corner, they bring friends, they all run into the remote...
And then people QQ and you get mail telling you to 'learn to play' from a proto stomp squad, even when you went 19/4 and on top of the board on the winning team...
Also, to anyone not [been] in D-UNI, Kevall sends out lots of helpful mails, from uplink deployment tips to skill point allocation advice - hes not obsessed with CRUs! Thoroughly recommended any player wanting to play smarter to join up for a spell - especially if you are new (they obviously do more than mail out helpful advice...).
You probably don't know me. But next time you get gunned down or exploded by a Valor scout...check the name.
