Until you can hire literally anyone who has ever worked with netcode in their entire life, lock the regional servers. Just had a VERY long match against a couple latino corps(for anyone who doesn't know, they are primarily based in mexico.) Because one side has a third world connection, the entire game lags and quite frankly, I would rather jam my **** into a jar full of salt, razor wire and ethyl alcohol than ever have to deal with that bull**** again. and before anyone cries racist, it is a consistent result: You play against a team with more than 1/3 players in a latino/brazil corp, you get massive lag spikes.
We were never further than 30 seconds from a lag spike.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

Have to agree with you there. That was the one reason we almost lost this afternoon in a skirmish, was lag. Eventually it go so bad I just went and sat in my gunlogi.

Actually, there is a pro. I never have to worry about getting kicked in the nuts midfight anymore.

We took out Nyain San/Chan in a lag filled Ambush match yesterday. We got behind and turned it around even. That one was epic. One of the best ones I've fought in some time.
A lot of these other scrub corps though have to rely upon lag just to be able to win a pub match.

It really sucks for sniper hit detection. In a match today, I could nail everyone except for one person with a latin american name. Out of 9 hits (yes I counted) I got 8 shield flashes. Against everyone else in the match, I got <20% shield flashes (still bad, but about average). |
