Spend 30 million isk for the comunity and do an experiment?
I want to see 16 players shooting with proto rail rifles with at least 2 complex damage mod to a soma with 2 militia heavy reppers.
1.8 it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes...

*yawn* it's simple math bro. The forums are going downhill...
Assuming 11% RR efficiency on tank armor (I think that's what most light weapons are against tanks).
Using standard RR with no damage mods:
422 * 16 * .11 = 742.72 damage/second.
If I'm wrong and it's actually 9% efficiency, I don't remember:
422 * 16 * .09 = 609 damage/second
Yes, it will out DPS a pair of heavy reppers. |

It's quite possible. I've had squads firing on vehicles to finish them off before.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.
