So I save 65 mil isk for when I got my proto gal logi. I was gonna go on a holy gallente proto stomp.
As it turns out for some reason I am more worried about saving isk. Wtf!? I literally am fighting just as good with my adv gal assault with a gek.
How do I forget about isk and remember to feircly hate/attack you people by any means neccesary?

I'm getting a semi out of this.
Its what I've been saying all along, the difference between fighting in enhanced and proto is very small indeed.
The "we hate protosompers" Club should be renamed "we hate playing better players With actual teamwork" or something like that.

Have a minimum you don't want to drop under and then do what you want till you hit that number. When you hit your low mark move back to profit suits and work towards a high limit. Watching a wallet grow is the goal of many mercs and I say if watching your wallet get bigger is your way of having fun or your idea of the end game then watch the number get bigger. It is your toon and you can have your own type of fun with it.

The only downside to hoarding ISK is that there is no reason to do it ... There is literally Nothing to spend it on Except for those expensive PROTO Suits/Modules/Weapons.

Money comes and goes. Play the game you want to. If I decide to kill every vehicle on the field I don't give a shitt how much it costs. It costs them more and that's important to me.

i do so much better in a std raven suit with 300 shield and 250 armour and basic weapons, than i do in a proto ck.0 with 500 shield and 350 armour (and the proto weapoins to go with it).....
i have no idea why....

Currently there isn't much actual incentive to win every match.
Winners don't get a high enough reward to justify everyone going HAM.
I've gone from 150 million ISK to today's number at 279 million in just a couple months running STD Min Assault suit costing a total of $16k.
If I join a match and we are clearly losing, I run an ADV Min Scout with damps and an ACR, collect kills and hacks till the game ends, make profit.
With TTK being so low, using expensive proto gear only really buys you ~1 sec more time alive in a fight, while that can sometimes mean the difference between winning and losing that fight, you might not get that lucky next time, and it sure doesn't help the brick tanked PRO suits that I sneak up on. 90% of the time they die before they can turn around or jump.
Run cheap suits, make money, realize that KDR in this game is meaningless, ISK efficiency is king, and save up for 1.8 where HOPEFULLY TTK will be long enough to make an actual difference in the gear you field.

Im sorry I've been hating on ur posts lately, its just that all your responses make my spidey senses go super nova.
But I stick with basic-adv gear and when i do switch to proto, it feels like I'm throwing out all the constraints i had in the other tiers and feel like a super soldier.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not ur day, tomorrow doesn't look too bright either.
