I can't remember where I read it (and I'm not going to dig through the forums) but I recall CCP saying that an infantry respec will happen once wwe have racial parity. I'd rather have one now, which means I can get out of useless weapons like MD and AR and put that SP into other things. With the across the board damage nerf and possible proficiency skill nerf, it's only gonna get uglier. Hopefully Caldari assault will get a better bonus than just reload speed. While I feel your pain with the Caldari assault, I really can't comment on the suit until I see the shield repair, recharge and depleted recharge delay are as that will make or break the suit. As for useless weapons, all of the weapons are being changed in 1.8 so who knows where the AR will end up. The MD is also getting a splash and direct damage buff, if you haven't heard. That was mentioned before uprising dropped and then again when something was offered after Uprising had been out for a while and the caldari logi suits got changed. Last one they said...then tanks and other vehicles were changed and those points were allowed to be reassigned. In all reality this should be an total respec or not at all, who cares what the FOTM is, it will change the next time CCP gets a bright idea that balance isn't right yet. LogiGod earns his pips

The current dev team is behind schedule and does not communicate regularly on the forums. The game is barely making money. Major parts of the game are still missing. On top of it all, SOE is ceasing their support of under performing free to play titles. I don't see a respec with 1.8. What I do see is another new dev team in our future when they push back the release of the patch again. Sooner or later, this train wreck is going to lose funding. There are too many promising new titles in development for the PS4 for a company to stand by and lose money over this one. SOE does not want DUST on the PS4. If they did, it would be already, right next to popular games like BF4 and COD Ghosts. This leaves the player with a crap game that gets no support on a last gen console that is being phased out.
