Bear in mind fiddle was an a-team member of OG TeamPlayers. And he was mighty effective with this fitting.
:3
And Annie's suit wasnt that much different. Bit more shields. A shotty. Used the stims. Much frustration. Many tears.
Wow.

Ok so that ISN'T a fit that I would use, that was a experimental funsy suit. My real fit only has 2 melee mods.
MK.0 was the best scout suit in the game until they added auto aim. Auto aim really killed the viability of a fit like this for anything other than running.
The idea here is a running suit.Secondary counter uplinks and shotgun scouts. Using the mass driver as a shotgun. Very effective against real shotguns. One downside to this, is that the mass driver has a suicide dead zone. Other players realize this and want to be in that dead zone. And then they get an elbow to the face.
Auto aim and scanners killed the scout-logi.
Melee is really good for taking down hackers and other speed fits. Also good for speedy uplink kills

I applaud you, sir.
Also, I was speedtanking myself back when speed tank actually viable, and you wouldnt believe how much more useful a speedtanked logi is compared to a bricktanked one. That time between the introduction of ferroscale and reintroduction of AA was most glorious. |

That time between the introduction of ferroscale and reintroduction of AA was most glorious. As an afterthought: the most weird about this is that people seriously consider this build weird. Shows how the meta shifted to plates vs dmods exclusively.
The main idea was 2 red/2 green so that I could match scout sprints to the city (still a little slower than gal logi). At that point, I use the extra PG/CPU that I have to craft a more combat viable suit than the said scouts. Mass driver is an obvious choice as it dominates scouts.
2 shield extender being the most tank you can reasonably fit with an uplink. and that kinda biotics in the low The other 2 high slots though... What do you want me to do? Basic shield extenders don't do jack. By examining Annie Oakley's play, I figured out what to do with them. And then a whole 'nother generation of stimulant junkies took over.
It was a fantastic fit for forward logistics and counter link play, as well as running. It held its own in combat as well. This was all before auto aim and scanners ruined my fun. |

I actually have very fond memories of charging Fiddle trying to dodge his mass driver rounds, leaping through the smoke, trying to kill him before he One-Inch-Punched me... Good times!
Fiddle is one of the unsung melee hereos of dust... I saw a thread where people listed how many melee kills they had, and some had over 100... Even now I can get over 100 melee kills in a just a few matches... so I did some thinking, and I thought of who had the most melee kills..

This game used to be so fun... All melee glitchers... pffffftttt It was a feature before the community said otherwise :/. Ari kinda distilled it down to making it his only source of damage and combined it with the similarly overpowered scanner and extracted many tears. Xerothebigboss and Funkmaster Whale are the only ones that said anything about it before then. |

I used it as more of a splash shotgun. If you want me to go back to the roofs, I can do that too. I don't want to and I don't think you want me to either. It was a playable weapon that wasn't a rifle... get over it.
Rampant shield tanking made flux gernades very strong. People ate a flux and got gibbed by the mass driver. Effective counter to FoTM became FoTM itself when the meta game shifted. |

Needs a complex dampener at least instead of the two stamina mods. I understand that extra stamina means more melee, but come on.
Also, mass driver is great for quick alpha damage before you go in for the kill or finishing them off after a sucessful melee. I'm guessing that you wouldn't try and melee someone twice with this suit. Flux grenade is great for annoying caldari's...
At least it wasn't as crazy as that japanese gameplay video I saw of someone using three blues and three greens with nova knives on a proto amarr assault...just no.
