My request is two-fold:
1: improve the Squad Leaders command interface to be very similar to the PS3-DVD on-screen controller
2: move the Squad Command wheel to squad members and allow them to mark information with it (no points awarded)
edit: Maybe this could be a function/advantage of a 'command' dropsuit?

The biggest change needed is adding ability to make commands without a map, ie. look a squad mate and put the donut of death on him or look at B and tag it, it would increase the pace and versatility of squad commands

You already can. Hold R2, tap R3, select command from wheel, tag something. |

To add to this, I would like for the 'map' button to be added to the "Battleground" control scheme... currently I have to hit [start]>[circle] to be in the map after 'pausing' the game.

Yes, advanced squad leader commands would be great. I wouldn't mind a multiple waypoint system, a more advanced defend order, and better attack orders
Sees prototompers...
Sees blueberries start to snipe...
Pulls out commando suit with laser rifle and swarm launcher...

I generally don't use a mic, and I find that I enjoy playing with others who don't either. I'd like a way to improve the channels of communication with squad member feedback (un-bonused). This could be a place for the Command/Squad Leader suit:
