I think the 1.8 release is the first one where he's had full control and it'll be a good indication of where he is taking things. Maybe it'll be a happy surprise. It needs to be soon though. I've moved from 'irritated over lack of info' to 'apathetic and looking to new games' and it takes a lot for me to abandon a game too. i've seen this before luckily i was on community rep side of things and got to see it from behind the scenes. it can be good and bad, but has a very high chance to go viral since it causes the community to become even more volatile of the tiniest problems.

They have brought a new team in-house in Shanghai to replace which is part of the restructuring the new EP has initiated.

From what I understand this was for him to meet with the new team to discuss what TTG have already done, code that was in place, ideas about PC, etc, so the new team is up to speed. Not a long term assignment. Again, from what I understand the push was for all Dust teams to be located in Shanghai and not split between there and Iceland as it was prior. I truly dislike losing FoxFour but understand the need for consolidation so all duties are in-house.
