i have 1 million skill points and spent it all on minmatar stuff... didnt really specialize now this grind is killing me and actually pushing me away from this game.
just give everybody an answer already... this deision cant seriously be a last minute.com thing. just put us out of our misery FFS!!!! |

To be honest you can't really specialise at 1 million SP. I made COVERT a month ago; he's nearing 4 million and even that isn't enough. You've only been here for a few weeks, it will be a few months until things get going for you...and the respec probably won't help the fact that you'll need to keep grinding.

Not sure if this is a serious thread or not, but in case it is:
Just assume the answer is "no" and get on with the game. If (although unlikely) there eventually is a respec, it'll be a nice surprise. |

Everyone needs to calm the hell down about a respect. Holy ****.
CCP posted a 2.0 skill tree so there will be a re-spec because the skills have changed, the values of weapons SP have changed, and because apparently there is a whole bunch of new content which would require different pre-requisites to obtain.
So everyone take a serious chill pill. I understand you were noobs and didn't build a very linear tree the first time and now when you have more game knowledge you realize you've wasted serious SP on matters that aren't relevant to your build now. There will be a re-spec whether its limited or not is the question.
I expect weapons and drop suits to be the minimum that will be in a re-spec based on what Was released/leaked last night about the changes.
The reason why people don't want a re-spec is they are upper tier players who have had the benefit of a re-spec after beta was over and built linear trees, therefore they are able to have a massive advantage over the rest.
So take their selfish perspective, they want to be better than you and kill you with ease so providing the middle of the road players a chance to close the gap will not benefit them.
Those who say there shouldn't be a re-spec are only trying to maintain a competitive advantage provided to them after beta, while those whining to get a re-spec are those middle to low tier players whose skill trees have many dumb, wasteful branches.
There will be a new skill tree, and from what lone wolf (i think) posted and said "weapon sp will go way up" there would only make sense they are going to re-spec weapons and suits at the minimum.
So please relax,
