...that telling everyone to run around in fat suits just after the tank spammers were getting bored with it would fire them back up to spam more tanks.
I really must congratulate CCP on this one they never fail to produce tears from some one. I for one am just glad this time its not me as this event introduced me to a world of the game i had not ventured into yet, wow is it ever fun being intimidating enough that scouts turn and run instead of starting to dance in front like with my skinny yellow suit.
On the flip side, this event seems to have put the spurs back to the tank spammers who had gotten bored with it and brought levels of being p1ssed off at the vehicle situation to an all time high.
I for one hope that something is going to be done about the AV situation at the same time the racial variants are released. I feel like this update could bring alot of people back from retirement and if they come in getting their new suits slaughtered by tanks non stop CCP will have lost one of their last chances at bringing those guys back. |

Forge guns (one of the few usefully AV weapons) are a heavy weapon. Hopefully you'll be seeing more of them too

Pulls out commando suit with laser rifle and swarm launcher...

I know I have. Had a few assault dropshits (Typo, but I like this one) giving our team trouble on a number of maps yesterday... that's the first time I've EVER seen four forge gunners shooting at a single target!
Sometimes I miss never seeing tanks in a battle... then I remember the mystical flying soma, and I can't help but smile.

The one guy I squad with that runs a FG is always yelling for ammo and always in the top 5. Needless to say, I am much happier when he is in the squad.

There were also a lot of attempts to ram into those ADSs with militia dropships, weren't there?

Lol Still remember that, huh? I was talking about a different game, I don't think anyone was actually trying to shoot you down, and again, I was bored. Had several enemy tanks on the field and I'm not going to waste my time trying to pull a team out of the dumps every single game.
