(Complete EVE nub, to get an idea of how bad I am. I once got into a juan vee juan on a plex and targeted the Minmatar Republic Destroyer instead of my attacker, and only noticed when I got into hull. Yeaaah......)
What benefits does it offer over Low Sec?
All I know is that stations are player owned in Null Sec..... I think.....

EVE players who care. Fights that matter.
Planetary Conquest isn't designed in a manner that works well with lowsec, and I actually believe PC will be removed from Molden Heath once a proper nullsec rollout is possible. Much larger groups of much more talented EVE players will actually have a reason to care about DUST.

PC is already pretty much dead. Right now we have pubs and FacWar, and we're desperately hoping CCP does something to jump start PC soon.

IF PC dies, or districts from MH are suddenly removed, people will cry and quit. I don't think they will take that away from the players.

I don't wanna hear about PC in nullsec until we get some introductory mechanics for Planetary Interaction integration. Until then, NOPE.
What's the point of growing clones like this is a gatdamn farm?
We should be able to hold districts actively in Null-Sec and prevent EVE players from colonizing out there without making a contract with our CEOs or at least attack and protect already owned colonies. I would imagine that the need for more resources to be poured into PI and PC would mean that the market would change to be even more in the favor of the colonizers. And since the security of your colonies would rely on mercenaries, the mercenary market would go up as well. Mercenary Corporations, Ringer Corporations, and Corporations with both EVE and DUST side control would gain a bigger importance.
Even with just the ability to attack or defend districts, for both player groups there would be a more immersive planetary gameplay. EVE players will be able to dominate the ground through mercenary resources without even having to directly confront the colony owner. Dust players will actually feel like they're a part of something bigger and there would be a lot more communication going on, especially since a lot of EVE players will probably need to build some relationships to keep a steady ground force comprised of a list of multiple mercenary corporations.
CCP said they don't want us to farm, so this is the best option for starters...Hopefully they try something like this by the end of the year when we get all of the basic mechanics out of the way.

Obviously, the current model for PC, both in terms of district mechanics and the benefits of holding them are broken.
PC in Molden Heath is a test playground. Since nobody cares about Molden Heath, they knew it wouldn't break EVE to put it here. PC will stay in Molden Heath until it works well, and then it will move to nullsec.

What he means is that his nullsec masters don't care about lowsec. They can't line their pockets with more ISK from it, so they won't spend a dime to support their Dust forces.

There are fleets flying around, but in general, Molden Heath is not a particular region worth while, it can not be claimed, only occupied, it's resources are for the most part taken (moons and such). The area is occupied by pirates, and is primarily used as a place for Nulli Secunda and NC Dot and rental alliances to transport stuff too and from Nullsec.
There are a million better regions for PVP and Resources and Industry. Molden Heath for the most part is one of the deadest regions I've ever been too aside from the Ammatar lowsec next to it.

Cute adorable little fleets that wouldn't last five minutes in an engagement with more substantial EVE forces. This is the kiddie pool.

That would change very quickly in 0.0 space if Dust had any impact on SOV. But, then again, the butthurt on the EVE side would be strong if they heard that console players would have any impact on their holdings. If CCP decided to go that route they would have to give at least two months notice for the inevitable recruitment spree from null alliances/coalitions.
