Spectre-M wrote:The reason I came to this game from TF2 and other shooters on PC and consoles, is this video . Edit: It has had almost 2 million views. I was hoping for an experience of future battle fields under red moons and asteroid belts. I wanted to fight for possession of a whole universe for rich pilots. I wanted to board ships and do extraction, sabotage and infiltration missions. I wanted to go down with the ship, cursing my former slave masters in the heart of their burning ship. This is the game I came to play.

If you played Eve, you would know how much to get excited about CCP's promo videos.

This thread deserves notice. We ALL have our dreams, and ambitions for the "marriage" of EVE/DUST 514.

Dogs of War Gaming is in for the long haul!! Kudos CCP!!

The player controlled economy is what I was seeking and so far that is not going to happen for eons

I was expecting when I started playing the game that after beta ended we would have at least some choice in contracts like we used to in Corporation Battles and some coherent EVE-Dust link but that's such a joke as of now.

There is no ability to make influential outcomes happen across New Eden in Dust 514 and that's why it's a bust. I also figured that beta was just the fine tuning of FPS mechanics...boy was I wrong

It's up to Ccp if they want the game to fail or succeed.

Best case scenario they pull some pr magic and call this the beta and re release with the carbon engine on ps4,
Not sure about your scenario, but I agree that the mainstream FPS games we know today (CoD, Halo, BF, etc.) have already begun to lose their luster.
Well of 80 million ps3's Ccp has about 5,000-10,000 players.
 that's 1 out of 16,000 to 8000.

There's less competition on ps4, fix it, put it on ps4, people will fire up their ps4 for the first time and download it and numbers will go through the roof and they won't quit after their first few matches.

Well, at least they know what a good game should look like.
 I had my doubts.

Again more ignorance...If The Majority of EVE players didn't want DUST to succeed, then they wouldn't have groups like subreddit and top men. There would be articles about DUST on the Glorious Space Tyrant's Website http://themittani.com/

You're narrow minded if you think EVE players don't care about DUST, it's just a smaller percentage, some of them are veteran players. That's like saying the majority of EVE doesn't care about wormholes or market pvp,

PIE wouldn't have hired on Aero, Aisha, or myself.....

I wish we could work in Wormholes for EVE pilots or on PI structures.

Sadly, it seems like they haven't figured out how to crawl yet. *When it comes to dust that is. eve has discovered the 7th sense and can levitate.*

The question is not if I can or can not, but who is going to stop me?
