were its time to skill into another suit. so my point is i would prefer to keep what i skill into in just one category so either Amarr jack of all trades: all amarr suits and weapons or Full Assault: all assault suits with their racial rifles and sidearms
and before anyone says anything like oh you can't do good just sticking with a single group of stuff in Dust well you can shut up because i for one like to play dust the same way i play pokemon instead of using whats deemed strong at the time i prefer to try and win with my favorites and so far its worked
p.s: this probably goes without saying but equipment is category free when it comes to skilling into stuff |

Amarr are good for sturdy and reliable fits, you can withstand a decent amount of firepower. However their slowness means you more often than not you have to fight on your opponents terms.

Since to run the Minmatar i've got every passive skill and every fitting skill maxxed, i'm thinking it'll work out pretty well.
OP, i'd be awful tempted to wait for that Ammar Scout, gives you so much flexibility and the ability to alter the flow of the game if your side is getting pushed off points.
I support SP rollover.

I don't see a big enough difference in Assault Suits to easily justify the crossing training into W, X, or Y Assault when you already have Z. Maybe one is faster or one has more EHP or one suit offers back rubs on the field, they all do the same thing; that is kill the enemy while still being worse than a Slayer Logistics. Play me off Paul! *All Along the Watch Tower*
Anyhoo, I don't think strict following of a single race is actually that bad. Because of how the Skill Tree is, there is no mechanical reason to not to use different Heavy or Scout because the Skill Tree is not like it is in EVE. But, as you said, Amarr only so I don't think it would be too bad.
I say go full racial obedience over having four different hammers. None of the Assault bonuses seem to be that important when using that weapon. The most significant is probably Amarr Assault because it lets you get more shots of a Scrambler Rifle. The rest are fairly small to absolute junk. I think it will be seen as "A Minmatar Assault not using a Combat Rifle is not quite as good as one using it" rather than the Combat Rifle not being good without it. But being able to be a Logistics, Heavy, or Scout based on what your team needs can be pretty important. |

Since you seem to prefer golden suits -- Amarr scout. Of all the scouts it has the least chance of getting nerfed, and the highest chance of getting additional love. |

I'm going the One Race/All Roles route. Suits seem to be gaining benefits for sticking to racial tech so it'll be easier to cross train roles than races.
That and I'm a Matari loyalist. I'm hoping the loyalty store has more stuff to buy soon.

im starting to lean heavily towards the amarr path |

On my heavy alt I have proto heavy and proto logi, both Amarr.
If i liked the Scrambler rifle I would go for an Amarr assault, but meh.
Amarr scout should be dull, but whatever.

Man I'm far off from that. Semi abandoned my 32 mill main to be a true Minmatar in race (my OCD demon overlord wouldn't accept any BS role play excuse for being Caldari ) so here I am...with 3.7 million SP. lol
Going to focus on maxing scout first and use LP gear to go advanced in other roles when I wanna mix it up.

As a logi it appears that's going to be near-mandatory to go to at least ADV level on each suit to maximize your effectiveness. We are the main people that need to consider branching out.
For the you, keeping racial purity will save you so e SP since you won't need to spend any on the useless generic suits, you can go straight into say, Logi, right now.
If you DO decide to break out, I would suggest going Caldari. You're already armor tanked with your Amarr suit, with all the RR spam, shield tanking is looking more attractive every day.

**** once i got my skills high enough i stop mixing mods with different level suits as in no complex mods on my advance suit and no advance mods on my proto suit samething goes for standard suits
p.s: this probably goes without saying but equipment is category free when it comes to skilling into stuff
the amarr logi gets a side-arm. make's it a fun suit to play around with. |

pros and cons to amarr so far
PROS Duel tanked all roles available low nerf chance cool suits higher pg and cpu then other racial suits highest stamina and stamina regen uplinks are my main equipment already
CONS slower than other racial suits weapon set is lacking heavy weapon no vehicles scout has mediocre bonus all weapons have the same shield and armor damage
pros and cons of full assault so far
PROS assault is a familiar role more tanking options more damage variety
CONS only one role higher sp cost good chance of getting nerfed don't get to try out cloaks
