Breach? Yes. Assault? No.
Gallante have Assault weapons as their standard weapon, same reason we don't have Assault Assault Rifles. The only time a race will get a variant of the same type of weapon they have by default will be in the case of Heavy weapons. This is why we have a Breach Forge gun and Burst HMG.

Hopefully. I think a dev said at some point that they're having difficulty making such weapons in a way that won't make them OP vs infantry.

Assault Rifle - Assault
Scrambler Rifle - Tactical
Rail Rifle - Breach
Combat Rifle - Burst
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

But we aren't talking about rifles.
And if there was a racial trend like this, there wouldn't be a burst HMG, or a breach FG.
