reading the forums someone mentioned throwing kinkats on a heavy so I tried it out and MY GOD. Not only is it cheaper then my usual build but it makes flanking and crossing those scary open spaces so much easier xD
Thanks CCP for making the HMG Heavy viable again :3
That's no excuse to slack off on releasing a heavy laser though =.=

Right? Nothing kicks ass like a 1200EHP HMG heavy suddenly behind the enemy force. |

The heavy suit gives you many ways to counter protos. Kin kats and HMG for surprise ********* or the trusty cheap ass militia forge gun for one shot knockouts!

you're welcome. kinda weird how building the amarr suit like a minmatar suit works well with a minmatar weapon.

Precisely why I'm gonna love the Min Sentinel and Commando. But right now I prefer maxing armour reps. I hate relying on others to rep my armour for me.

A speed tanked sentinel is the real commando.

Back in Chrome, I would fill all my low slots with KinCats, join an Ambush OMS match, and would proceed to rush down all installations to farm WP. Since everyone was fixated on getting kills via infantry firefights, I would often have every installation to myself. LAVs would give my position away, so sprinting was my preferred method of travel. |

I was wondering about this once and tried it on a STD heavy. Unfortunately I didn't have a proto sentinel so I couldn't experience it at it's full potential, but it was pretty decent regardless.
Even better, a speed stacked heavy with a Rail Rifle. lol next FOTM
As if slow rail rifle heavies weren't bad enough

A better way to do this for more WP: Build a cheap light suit, add a mlt uplink and a green pill. Run past the enemy infantry, jump over their tanks, drop your uplinks as close to the obj as possible, rush an enemy, die on purpose and... ...spawn a full tanked out sentinel from your uplink. Not only will you have points from the kills you get, but team spawn points from everyone else using the uplinks. This is the tactic I use to go Top 5 with 1000+WP every match. The only time I don't do this is when I feel like screwing off or trying something new, but after a cpl matches go back to this. The only other time I don't do this is when I get teamed w the Nyain boys, and can literally sit on the obj the entire match. I do that whenever I can because I'm lazy. Also, if I have to walk my heavy more than 100m, I'm calling in a LAV.
