If you see someone using a small rail turret on a Methana, and the only person in the vehicle is in the gunner seat, this is not an invitation for you to hop in and start driving. They are not wishing for someone to drive while they gun. They're using it as a mobile sniper platform, and by hopping in and driving around, you have ruined this.

@OP: I've done this with a rail car as well but instead of a joyride I was simply measuring the direction he was firing in to see who he was shooting at. After I would drive around (maintaining distance) in order to give him a better angle.
I sometimes feel like a logi because I have, on occasion, stopped in my tracks to assist allies that are doing something for the team's benefit. Be that driving them around, switching to a medic fit to quickly revive allies that are near the supply depot, driving an allies tank because they jumped out to hack a point (happened just yesterday) in an attempt to return it to them, specifically targeting AV that is targeting one of my team's vehicles, distracting tanks while my allies position themselves for a counter attack(I once made a tank retreat while I was on foot...I had NO AV! lol)
