It's not so much an issue of taming you as it is an issue of escalation and subduing.
I remember back in Chrome when we would have 1v1 HMG fights that started around ADV gear. And if I beat you, your answer would be to keep escalating to a bigger weapon until you started bringing out the goddamn Gastun's.

The first thing I always did t the start of an online match of Twisted Metal (PS3) was spend the first 1-2 minutes stockpiling on weapons as if I'm going to war. I use every means necessary to stay alive even if it may be excessive, this is kinda why I only use PRO gear.
