you still get lag think of all the skills every players has and all that adds up to why it take so long to spawn.

look at MAG, how hectic even the modes with the least players were, despite there being set in stone spawns on the opposite side of the map, on the same few maps over&over
more chaos with more players means the easier it is for everyone to die and the harder it is to have organised stomps.
