So, the Heavy suit is built to take on a TANK. It can toe to toe any sub heavy suit out there with ease. It's 'supposed' drawback is it's mobility.
Well I've seen so many LAVs zoom around, and out pop this elephant that just one shots enemies and hops back in the LAV (Ltd. Ed..BPO) and zooms off.
The worst is when they hop out with a LIGHT weapon! WTF.

Why is it worse when they pop out with a light weapon. Can you articulate why you're more afraid of heavies wielding light weapons than heavies wielding heavy weapons without admitting that the heavy anti-infantry weapons suck? |

In either case it's difficult to counter with anything unless you're in a tank. I've see a heavy pop out at 50km and 3 shot my scout with a RR. Their able to use the mobility to get optimal range with impunity.
There are plenty of threads, however, where you can find the distaste for heavies wielding light weapons...

This is literally the one and only way for a HMG heavy to deal with current RR spam. There's no other way to close the range with rail riflers. That's why I do it, at least. |

That is a separate issue: the Rail Rifle having no effective drawback.
This issue, the lack of vehicle entry/exit animation, is that the ability to teleport in and out of a vehicle is not only insanely powerful, but also immersion-breaking. |

I don't mind heavies killing things, if I see a heavy I run the other way (when in a scout). But when they can run me down OR hop out and gun me down anyway then it's just not fair. |

Honestly its a cheap tactic but a solid one.....
Making small turrets on lavs more effective would make more of an incentive to stay in the gunner seat
Put yourself in the heavies shoes......take a 5 minute walk to the nearest objective or take a 30 second lav ride......
Av weapons need to be more effective against lavs....this will help fight the guys just driving around in tanked out lavs in heavy suits I'm not saying make it impossible to do but it shouldn't be as easy as it is

What's not to love about the scrambler rifle, the thing is a precision weapon and at the same time a shotgun.

But what weapons they were using weren't the problem at all. |

BPO LAV with all militia modules. No skin off my back if you want to waste time trying to kill my LAV while I light you up with my HMG.
I've always supported entry/exit animations for vehicles.
