On a side note, how to they do against unhardened tanks? hardened tanks?

I only have lvl 1 incubus skills with basic rail and cant even scratch the surface on them tanks. Is a full spec into both worth the tradeoff?

Assuming no damage mod, since I don't typically run one:

Gunloggi Unhardened: Very very easy. I use prototype rail with level 3 assault dropship and level 5 Incubus, and I just rip through it seconds

Gunloggi Hardened: Just keep fire on them. If they don't find cover or escape to the redline and you aren't shot down by something else, you will just wear through them. I have the reload skill to 4 so just by juggling the overheat and quickly reloading, they don't get the chance to regen shields. If you see you are doing barely any damage, they are running two hardeners, just wait for it to go down and then collect your kill.

Madrugar Unhardened: Depends on if it's running two or three complex reps. If it is, your damage is healed up as you juggle overheat. If it's one plate one rep with hardener down, you can start putting a dent into them. Unlike Gunloggis they're better at quickly repositioning to throw off your shots, and with the constant regen of armor it can be tough.

Madrugar Hardened: Don't shoot his armor, just keep his shields down. If another teammate engages the tank, you can then provide fire support.

Interesting, I would expect the rail to be better at taking out armor tanks tnan shields. I'm still speccing into them rails and incubus. Gonna take time. But so far my missiles can eat through a double hardened armor tank with a rep. The only thing that cancels out my damage is triple hardened shield tanks and triple hardened armor ones. Anything below that will lose HP, obviously at different rates.

I'm just hoping that when everything lvl 5, it will eat through tanks the same way it eats through derpships. The rail as beautiful vs derpships, I just wish it can be just as effective againsts ground vehicles too.

You mean an AV specialized turret is better at AV than a more general purpose turret? Never would have guessed.
