Maybe I'm doing the math wrong but isn't it possible to get a 0 for your profile signature? What happens when you do?

Start with a scout 45 db, add lvl 5 scout bonus -25% scan profile, add dropsuit dampening lvl 5 -10% scan profile. ThatGÇÖs a 35% or 15.75 drop in 45 db or 30 because you round down on percentages. That will get you under advanced scanners. To get under proto 26 db scanners, you will need complex dampeners but there is stacking penalties I believe, anyways, can't get there. When cloak comes out, supposedly it takes off another 25% while it's running, but we will see.
BTW, doesn't matter much, 100m away red with a rail rifle will take you out in the back cause he sees you for 1 sec.

I think lowest profile you can get is with a Gallente scout and is ~11. ~8 with cloaking. |

It's not possible. You are dealing with percentages that decrease everytime they are stacked, so getting 100% would be near impossible and it certainly doesn't occur in Dust.

The game runs these bonuses in succession. You start with the 45 DB, subtract the 25% and gain a new total. Damp5 is another 10% off that total. etc.
These bonuses are multiplicative across different sources. (45*.75*.9*75*.75)
The bonuses are additive within skill ranks (Skill rank 3 = 2%+2%+2%)
And yes, Rail Rifle Sees All. CCP should have learned their lesson with the TAC. And even that should have never happened because they should have learned their lesson with the laser. |

I didn't mean you could actually get to 1 in the game. Just saying since it is all percentages you could only get infinitely close to 0 and since the game rounds up 1 would be the absolute minimum.
