So is it just me, or is using anything other than a hardener and damage mod (hardener and reps for a maddie) just plain stupid.
Plates and extenders have been kicked to the curb, so I wonder, what could you do with them. My first and initial thought is double the HP you get from them. That's the only conceivable way I could imagine them being equal to a rep or hardener.
To me this is lame and uncreative, any suggestions eh?

All we have so far are 120 plates on our STD HAV, it would be my expecttation that after CCP gets the info they needed for AV vs HAV, we will get our ADV and Proto HAV's, More MODS and Probably redo our skill tree's for HAV Upgrades and turrets. Just an educated guess thou.
BUT None of this accually matter if they dont fix the Laggy $h!+ they call PC/FW or the P!$$ poor matchmaking.

As long as the plasma cannon gets a buff to compensate for your armor, I'm game. I'd love to blast your tank in the soft spot. Maybe then I wouldn't feel inferior to a forge gun.

I run two hardeners and an extender on my gunnlogi. USe both of them at the same time to resist railguns and large blasters, so I can do what I can to combat tank spam.
Best PVE idea I've seen.

He's referring to extenders on armor. I would personally only use a hardener extender and rep if ever an extender but takes a lot of pg/CPU to do it.

armor plates are better suited to passive tanking. i see plates on mlt tanks more than on anything else. |
