I really wish IRC wasn't used. It isn't like CCP doesn't have their own forums or Youtube channel. Almost as bad as Riot using Reddit for everything. |

This wasn't from any devs though, but from Hans (CPM).
But yes, CCP should use the forums more, I agree.

Experience will tell you that some stuff in 1.8 wouldn't work as intended so changes are going to happen anyway, thus it is possible that respecs happen at a later time.
To me it sounds stupid wether a respec should happen or not, the question should be: when? |

The whole debate about a respec reminds me of MAG, specifically of Zippers stance on whether the maps should be faction-locked or not. Raven and Valor cried their eyes out about how much stronger SVERs defenses were, while SVER basically responded with: "Pfft. Get good, scrubs.". Zippers stance was "No." for the longest time before they finally made all maps available to all factions. Everyone was happy and Zipper left for Socom 4.
I think a respec is bound to happen, there's simply too much support for it for CUP to ignore. |
