its nice to use heavy with the knowledge that each kill is rewarded with SP
But i can't shake the feeling this is a precursor to 1.8s likely swarms of heavies.
After all, heavies are already OP when used by a good player, and i constantly am reminded every time i get a kill with one.
My average heavy loadout is ADV basic frame with 2 complex shield Ext & 2 complex armor plates, 746 shield 863 armor, Boundless HMG prof 3.
The high shields just sponge EVERYTHING, its ridiculous how few times i actually get taken into armor, let alone die, all the while instantly melting every dropsuit. **** is nuts.

I'm actually kind of liking this event. I've been playing as a Cal Assault for so long, that I really like the change of pace (literally). I don't really mind the speed loss since I was a part time forger before this. I do, however, wish there were more heavy weapons, but oh well.
