After hearing what I have heard recently, I actually expect them to push back 1.8. It will suck if they do. People will be mad about it but I honestly think they will push it back.

This is the kind of mentality that pisses me off.
It's excellent for something to get delayed a bit so that key aspects of an update get sorted out. But when you start delaying for the sake of delaying, that's when it starts to fall apart. It has been 3 months already since we last got a major patch. I'm confident enough this time around that CCP has had sufficient time to get most of the key things done for 1.8 at this point. If not, then that is just another sign that CCP doesn't know how to get their **** together when it comes to FPS development.

3 months yes, but with Xmas, New Year and Chinese New Year vacations you have to discount 2 months.

I don't think Christmas is celebrated much in Shanghai (though plenty in Iceland) and I'm not sure if a Chinese New Year celebration even takes up a whole month (let alone 2 months). Like I would say to others, be glad the company isn't in Brazil or else we'll never see this finished with all the excessive holidays those Brazilians have.
