On how to aim my MD and Flay. I like them both a lot, but I find myself missing shots more often then I would like. I run them on a scout suit. No I am not using a Med frame. I can hit targets above or below me, but on flat ground its sooo much harder. Some tips would be cool. Thanks.

Some advice for the MD I got was use it like a lawn mower and just shoot in front you as you advance....for flaylock in my experience with it your aiming for their feet most of the time not their actual body |

Thanks. Due to my constant circle strafing bunny hopping and walking backwards its amazing I can hit anything. When I aim with my flay I usually aim for there body and miss so aiming at there feet should help.

It is much harder to hit someone on flay ground with the mass driver ( one of my favorite weapons). When facing someone on flat ground: 1. Aim slightly above if you are trying to get direct hits (only recommended for the breach MD) 2 Aim at their legs, torso, and feet depending on distance, the further away the higher you aim.. same for the above

I think a lot of it is just getting used to the drop off. For the Flaylock it has a similar ark to the Plasma Canon
If someone is dancing just aim for the feet.
Sometimes I find it advantageous to jump and fire down at them.

You'll just need practice, thats all. It takes awhile to get really good with those guns but as soon as you do you should hit very consistently.
Also, flux grenades are less important than people think, they only help against heavies really, because when you have proficiency 5 & 3 damage mods it only takes 1-3 shots to rip off most peoples shields anyways, since shields are so garbage. But against a heavy like mine with 746 shields, you'll definitely need a flux grenade. Though really, you shouldn't even try to engage super tanked heavies at all since in 1.8 they'll have near total immunity to a MD.
But fluxes do help non max damage mass drivers a lot, so if you don't have proficiencies and/or damage mods, you should use them all the time.

I used 1-2 of every weapon I had to kill a heavy. Two nades, a couple Breach MDs shots. And what finished him off? Two hit from a basic FlayLock Pistol. I don't care about 1.8, i'm still using explosives.
