either give at least heavies a respec for 1.8 or make the following month after 1.8 drops quadruple active and passive SP.
btw. for all you who say flaylock sp shouldnt be refunded you shouldnt even hope to get a respec in 1.8. because that is both hypocritical and flawed.

Giving some sort of bonus SP event as consolation for not having a respec would be bad. All it would do is give the players who were lucky enough to have their preferred specialization available since launch a bigger bonus while everyone else is just trying to get into their specialization for the first time and sitting on skill points that are essentially wasted. Yeah yeah, "no such thing as wasted SP" blah blah, whatever. It's wasted SP if you have no intent on using again and really had no intent on using it in the first place but were forced with lack of original options.

I think if there was just a respec at will mechanic at the cost of isk or aurum would solve the tweaking issues every update. But, let's not kid ourselves. This game is about power leveling to be awesome.
It's a rpg marketed as an fps to make players who are bad at fps games feel good while playing one. If you put in the hours you can "get good" without being good, or roll a mlt tank as the current case is.
Because Battlefield has been making better games for a while now. Hell Skirmish is pretty much a copycat of Battlefield 2142 Titan Mode.
This game was sloppily thrown together by Chinese sweat shop programmers and it shows. This is just CCP's attempt to cash out on the fps console market before they move on to more Eve content.

or wasted SP if what you were using was nerfed into oblivion.
Seriously has anyone noticed that anything "Directly" nerfed in this game never becomes good again?

so that when the new heavy suits come out you already have their basic frames skilled into
