You're wondering what the hell is a respec right?
A respec, or re-specialization, is something that allows characters to choose what they actually wanted to skill into instead of something else. Lets say an Amarr Heavy, someone may have wanted to go Minmitar heavy but because of the lack of the most basic of items in the game forced a player to specialize into an Amarrian heavy.
Would you guys have done this to vehicles, or even considered doing this to the vehicle users?
I think not. Whether or not items were not taken away you greatly changed the mechanics of a play style which deserves for a respec.
I shouldn't have to be penalized for going into Y suit because there's no X suit, waiting 2 years for a suit was completely out of the question.

cant they just change the amarr basic heavy skill into a general heavy skill? if people skilled into the sentinel skill then it stays in the amarr section.

I have 4.4 million SP for 1.8 I'll get what I want., which all I want is the Ion Pistol.
This may be hard to understand but I'm not saying this for self gain. This is about what's fair to the community.

I have so much SP that I can just leave millions unallocated for months. And the people who have only 5M SP can go **** themselves, amirite?  |
