When the flaylock came out I and 98% of the Dust 514 playerbase wanted that thing nerfed but seeing as it is now they were a bit to harsh on the blast radius. I put .10-.25 because I'm not really sure how much it should be increased because but .25 seems a reasonable increase to the blast radius seeing as it is a small change. I always argued that they nerf the flaylock so it was actually a secondary weapon a finishing weapon if you will. Now, how are you even suppose to kill them if you can't even hit them. Don't get me wrong there are some people who are good shots but mainly the players who stayed loyal to it. One more thing why is there a breach flaylock in the game it's useless only time you need is when the enemy is staying completely still. Yea so that is my argument It's shot and I know CCp ain't going to do it but at least I'll have some people agree with me. |

Do you have you're flaylock to level 5? there's a blast radius increase for each level that helps big time.. Although I still had to completely max out my flaylock for it to be a viable weapon. You see I'm a dedicated AV artist, and flaylock is great for finishing off vehicles *insert maniacal laughter after taking out Gunnlogi* Unfortunately the Breach Flaylock was supposed to be the AV version and there is NO PROTOTYPE VERSION. This is where you screwed up BIGTIME CCP :) The normal Flaylock produces more damage per clip than the Breach, making it completely useless :( |

Yeah I tried that thing post nerf and it's horrible probably only good when you're being rushed by more than 1 enemy.
This seems to be a trend with CCP - overdoing nerfs and buffs

Blast radius could be increased but the real problem is hit detection. There's times when the blast just plain doesn't hit a target even though it appears as if it should've. Blame it on lag or poor mechanics, idk.
I'd actually like to see the direct hit damage buffed to reinforce the "skill shot weapon" it was supposed to be. Furthermore, head shot damage should be similar to the scrambler pistol. There is nothing more frustrating than hitting someone in the face with a middle only to watch them gun you down with a RR.
Any buff would be welcome because right now its quite useless for everything except being funny. |

This has always been the case with explosive weapons. They don't always do what they should.
The thing about making it a skillshot weapon is pretty stupid TBH. First, it is much harder to use than the Scram Pistol. In fact, it always has been, even pre nerf, because of the projectile travel time. So, if you try to reinforce that aspect of it - the direct damage, it just turns more and more into a crappier scrambler pistol.
It needs it explosive capability to differentiate it, and it need to be substantially buffed in order to compete with any of the other sidearms. |

How about letting the operation skill increase the radius of the direct damage while keeping the overall damage radius constant (if you guys follow).
So increase the radius of all FP by the 25 % off the bat
Then change the op skill to increase an inner direct damage circle by some percentage per level.
The nerf was too much because they removed so much splash damage as well as taking away radius. Now with the competency of rifles and SMG's its no chance.
I am waiting to see if they tone down SMG's to say anymore but I always thought that the FP should sit somewhere between the ScP and SMG in terms of effectiveness
