we need to nerf the re"s because i could be in my proto sentinel with 2000 hit points overall and it only takes 1 standard re to kill me

Thought standard RE's 1500 damage? Unless you're being sent sky high by 2 or more of them, you're full of it.

Heavies have tanked my RE on several occasions. First, second and third time I was all "lol wut?" as they gunned me down with their HMGs. If anything REs should get a buff. It's super annoying that heavies can tank an RE explosion.
@CCP: Is the Cloaking Fields and Profile Dampeners reduction to Scan Profile stacking penalized when added together?

Yea, no. RE's only do 1500 a piece, so if you actually managed to get 2K HP, you'd be fine... more than long enough to melt the scout who likely only has 300 total HP into mush and whatever else scouts are made of.
Sometimes I miss never seeing tanks in a battle... then I remember the mystical flying soma, and I can't help but smile.

In 1.8 sentinels will have up to 25% reduction to explosives, this will reduce RE effectiveness on heavies. |

Nothing personal but: good that's the way we want it to be. Come 1.8, heavies and commandos are going to be everywhere. We will need a counter. In fact, buff the RE's! I said this in another thread, but give us laser trip mines CCP!

REs shouldnt be able to detonate when bleeding out, it makes no sense. you have to activate the detonation, which if your dead you can't do (obviously). BTW i use proto REs on my scout

If you are "bleeding out" you are NOT DEAD.
Whole community needs tounderstand the difference between bleeding out and dead.
