What is your opinion, about choosing the corps in pub matches? I mean dusters could choose the side which they want to fight ,or even block corps which side we dont want to fight. I asking this bcause, it is strange when playing galletean char and putted in templis dragonaurs side or when i forced to play with blood raiders side. Also there is another reason im asking this, new eden is ultra capitalistic place and if certain corp loses the match it loses also money. So if we dusters could choose side we also could make some impact in world of new eden.
Fck the kdr,i`m going in

Fighting for smaller groups... I like this then again I liked my Daredevil... x3 damage for hybrids cmon just give pirate suits...
Pubs are like ratting or missions... mostly unimportant, though

Something like choosing sides and having an impact on new eden would be nice but it does have some some impact to the game that might have issues for players
- Longer wait times for public matches in waiting for your preferred corps to be filled with players - More server bandwidth used to facilitate the pairing system and relay impact - A lot of resources from the dev team to work on the backend of designing wallets for NPC corps - Unintended consequences should players choose to stack certain corps
Public matches should be quick to get into. They provide the instant gratification to players for the game. It allows casual players a chance to log on and get into a game within a short time period.
That is not to say that CCP could not expand game modes to something like FW where players can choose an NPC corp to be aligned with. It would be similar to mission running in EVE where you would get an ISK payout plus LP for that particular corp.

i would be against it. we would see these top corps blocking each other and only fighting noobs, making pubs a match made in hell for anyone not in a corp that is full of try hards. that right there is reason alone not to do it. I actually want people to pick up this game and have a great experience so they keep playing this potentially great game.
you can't choose your enemy. the only way we would be able to choose our enemy is if they bring back corp battles.
Everything I say or do has the utmost importance.

Allowing queue sync in pubs would do horrific things to an already crippled and limping matchmaking system. Pubs are meant to simply be fast, simple matches. The lore in pub matches is largely irrelevant, noted that nobody tells you why you're fighting there, and no territory changes hands because of it. The fact that corps are even listed there is just for flavor.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

Pretty much what Soraya said.
Pub matches are meant to be fast, easy to get into and have little impact in the lore of the game. With the salvage drops, they're the Dust equivalent of Ratting in Eve.

I agree, if you want to fight for a side do FW or get into PC (when it's fixed). Pub matches are just suppose to be fast matches, not pick the side you wanna be on. Especially since those sides in pub matches have no impact in the game (DUST or EVE).
