[Prone] Small camera shake upon going prone, significant enough to throw off aiming. (anti-dropshot)
Cannot fire while in the process of going prone. (anti-dropshot)
Camera is at eye level once prone. (which causes you to shoot at the feet, anti-dropshot)
How fast you can go prone is dependent on movement speed.
[Vault] If using a sidearm you can shoot while vaulting. (can fight back if being shot at while vaulting)
Cannot aim down sights.
How fast you can vault is dependent on movement speed.
[Slide] How far and fast you slide is depended on sprint speed.
Cannot shoot while sliding (used for getting to cover)
Stamina-dependent
Alternatively, heavies could just dive instead (dolphin diving heavies!!)
[Ledge Grab] If you feel you barely missed a jump, you can press a button at the right time to grab a ledge to pull yourself up.
Possible addition to this: Repeated pushing of a button allows you to pull yourself up.
Stamina is reduced constantly while holding on the ledge.
Every time the button is pressed, you reduce stamina.
If stamina is depleted, you fall.
Teammates can help you up.
[Run while Shooting/Reloading] Hip-fire aim is reduced dramatically
Sprint speed is reduced slightly
[Crawl] How fast you can crawl is dependent on movement speed.
[Throw back grenades]
[Grab onto ladders mid-jump] Not required to use a button in order to climb ladders.
[Land on enemies] [*] While falling you can land on an enemy, killing them. |

Agree on the general idea of adding advanced maneuvers. Disagree on prenerfing them so heavily. Like the ledge grab, which is completely ******** in your concept. Just make it an automatic grab when you keep holding the jump button and make the speed of the animation dependant on suit speed. No need to give it stamina costs or anything like that. Stamina is already ridiculously overextended with the current system.
Also, add modules for advanced movement. Stuff like wallruns or increasing fall speed while cancelling fall damage. Maybe even jetpacks of some variety (be it flight packs, jump jets, directional one-time boosts, double jumps or whatever else). |
