Imagine a multibillion isk computer that lets you shoot and destroy an enemies MCC... Now,imagine you don't want the console destroyed/hacked by enemies... Where would you place it to be the most secure/effective? In the middle of an open bridge? In an unsecure container in the middle of the road?In a place with explosions right beside it?In a place where it can be shot from multiple angles? The answer is a resounding "NO!". You would desire to protect your investment. Current null cannon hack points are placed in locations where maximum clone deaths can be achieved, which is why they are located in such whimsical places. I think this defeats the seriousness of "leaving your mark". In reality these locations should require narrow hallways and possibly only one doorway, this would change the fighting area from intentional killboxes to a valid fighting point. Fights should be centered around getting to an objective, not being on it as they currently are. This would also add to the realism seeing as the placement of objectives would actually make sense.
Only users lose drugs.

I see what you're saying, but game balance says no. Fun > realism. 1 doorway to reach an objective? Narrow hallways? Are you kidding me? Heavies and REs would suddenly become the only viable strategies. |

Heavies and REs would suddenly become the only viable strategies. Fair and true, stick 2 heavies with HMG in the hallway, and 1 logi with a core focused behind them: Objective successfully locked down, especially if its inside a structure..
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?
THAT SENTENCE HAD TOO MANY SYLLABLES! APOLOGIZE!
